Il s’agit notamment d’élucider, avec l’aide de Michael Löwy, les enjeux du mariage « contre-nature » entre marxisme et théologie, ou encore de suivre Daniel Bensaïd dans sa relecture sécularisée et anti-utopique du messianisme benjaminien.  This article aims at restoring to the works of Walter Benjamin its critical and political dimension.
