"S.T.E.C." Space-Time_Energy-Consciousness

Models exist in many forms; many of these go beyond the level of words, or communicable systems. The recognition of models goes even beyond what we consciously know. The basis of modelling can be sought in Languaging, as many authors have done (Grinder & Bandier, 1975). They can even be identified in the dynamic organisation of our neurones, as more recent work has shown (Maturana & Varela, 1980). That being the case, the inherent cross-interaction of the models we make, and the system in which we make them, is an issue to be considered. It calls for an understanding of our body (and neurones) not as a computing machine, but as information processor in a more 'rarefied' (and extended) sense than science can yet show, within the limitations that Cultural Consensus imposes. As long as these human limits to human-made models are ignored, we can't get beyond to perceive reality as it is: our models, conditioning our mind, will be (culturally conditioned) unconsciously in our way. This paper proposes reconsideration from first principles, by showing a relationship between Space, Time, Energy and Consciousness which help to get to the basis of the models we make, beyond the forms they can take.

The Equation of Health Out Body Math/Map of Health and Knowledge

In mathematics it is customary to regard an equation as 'a formula written on paper'. Our living body however also is an equation : it equates the balance between its inner coherence and its context. lts form reflects this equation. This can be understood in a fundamental formal manner. This paper explores the significance of the body diffractal - the series of cellular divisions from the Zygote in forming the integral body. The process spells the Equation of Health: the internal coherence of any cell at any time can always be traced back to its placed in the branched chain reaction of the unfolding Zygote. It also shows how we assimilate and integrate our knowledge of/from our context, and how our options in creation are determined by the interpolation of health and understanding. Although the maths of the map of the integrity is, in principle, simple, some fundamental questions emerge about the mathematical formulations that are needed to be able to describe this.

The Mind of the Scientist

The mind of the scientist is the prime tool in scientific research. It is however rarely calibrated, which suggests that there is no reliable foundation for the study of science. Individually, scientists learn to use their mind, but only indirectly and incompletely; as conditioned by their education. Few study their mind on its own; thus few make use of its full potential. From the body we can see that life is based in the integration of information and matter. This call for an understanding of physics based on phasics (phase information. The invariance that is sought for in science is not based on matter, but on the phase field by which it is formed. Understanding the mind brings us closest to how this takes place; our body is our best example. This suggests some fundamental new possibilities for science, by not basing it on an erroneous idea of 'objectivity' and 'invariance', but on subjective personal experience of uniqueness in/and creation.

The Blind Spot of Science: Life, Love, Consciousness and Health

Science is a collective activity, in which many individuals co-operate in the quest for understanding the unknown. One of the simplifying assumptions of classical science, studying objects, was that the human observer could be obiective. This led to an irresponsible situation: the scientist as outsider of reality ('playing god'). By this assumption scientists are explicitly implicitly unable to cope with the consequences of their own creation. This approach is leading to extensive damage to Earth, and humanity, and it is necessary to focus on the hidden role of the scientist in science. It will be seen that this focus makes it possible to address what seems to be the blind spot of science: the scientist himherself, and the vital difference between the nature of living beings and dead matter. It appears necessary to, literally, bring science to life.

Consciousness and/of Freedom of Choice in our Living Body : The Dynamic Logic of Dimensional Phase Change

The material of our living body is very different from that of inert objects. It is secreted by living cells, and continuously recycled with very different uses. Our body materials undergo phase changes, by which we can adapt to very different contexts. This material derives from our context, and is to be regarded as dynamically interwoven with it. The state changes in its composition relate to transitions between degrees of freedom, which relate to different dimensional states. The relationship between 1D, 2D, 3D and 4D are integral part of our body's functioning as a dimensional operator. This text relates these to our freedom of choice, and discusses how we can see Freedom of Choice to be incorporated into our body. This understanding has deep consequences for health care. 'Modern' medicine still adheres to the tenets of Classical Science. Our body however is not ar inert object and cannot be treated as such. Our ability to use freedom of choice is of direct relevance for (self) healing.

Dimensional (de)Compression : The Art of Black Hole Navigation

Total System Inversion requires a dynamic compression, of the Complete System, into and through one node: the pivot point of Inversion. This requires more than a simple system function compaction: it requires a co-ordinates series of steps of dimensional reductions, by which the number of system singularities is made to consense, condense and compress. As a result – functionally - fewer system singularities are perceived, yet their functionality is retained. This is a requirement for a physical system to recurse back into a chemical process, to revert into an electromagnetic transformation to remerge into the phase state out of which it was formed. Cosmogenesis (Genesis and cosmology) describes this same pathway in the opposite sense. Dimensional Compression is an information intensification procedure: phase information is redistributed in such a way that local processes, and their more general manifestations, can align; the information can than be store in the one form rather than the other. This is based on the inclusion of the information of embedding of the system in its context. This kind of realisation is possible only when the relationship between the part and the whole is seen. A suitable metaphor for this is the relationship between a wave and a group wave. What we needs is a formulation that describes the equivalence between the two; (cf. the particle-wave duality). Only then is it possible to know the relationship between the part and the whole, but also between Physics and Phasics (or matter and information). Their relationship is evident in all living beings; their being is based on the principle of dynamic dimensional/data (de)compression, addressed in this paper.

Total System Inversion : The Alchemy of Realisation

"Big Bang" is often being used as a representation for universal unification: the one starting point for the universe as a whole. It is a key concept in the quest for a Grand Theory of Unification, in which all of the forms of the universe can be reduced into one point of creation. As is seen in mathematics, when a dimension is compressed its specifications change from quantitative to qualitative: the structures become less determinable than their relationships. In Total System Inversion, this relation is made explicit, relating the Closed System to the Open System. To distinguish the two a different mode of observation is required. A Field and a Boundary must be regarded and considered at the same time. This requires a mental state in which left brain and right brain are in balance; this has been described as the D'ai Qi of I Ching. The formalism of state transition includes its dynamics, transformation and emergence; all can be described in the same terms if the constraint of determinable/determined description is released in describing how the same takes place for any identifiable system. The concept of Total System lnversion is essential for understanding properties and principles that can not be perceived: the singularities in our own functioning are the gateways to knowing more of the unknown.

Synergy and Sympoiesis in the Writing of Joint Papers (Anticipation with/in Imagination)

Synergy can be seen as energy liberation by systems integration, as seen in waves sharing a common 'carrier wave'. This paper studies the synergy in co-authorship, i.e. when authors experience new insights that transcend their individual understanding. Synergy couples four perspectives, each with its own 'language' of description : l) the individual viewpoint, 2) the inter-authors relationship, 3) their inner-inter-action dynamics, and 4) new meaning in the joint context. Synergising is an art. The outcomes are the unpredictable consequences of personal involvement in the process. Process integrity determines the quality of the result. It is maintained by the authors managing their feelings to regulate their input in line with what is felt to be the common intent.

Referon Analysis (pReference of Reference)

Most models of mathematics and physics are incomplete, because they lack a description of their Basis : their system of Reference. The reference system specifies the nature of our involvement in the observation, which determines the singularities of the system, thus the potentials and limitations of any specific model. As each model reflects our nature, the lack of understanding of the nature of our involvement - in our understanding - backfires in unforeseen side-effects of that model. The problems caused to Nature, by contemporary science, is the result of the igroring of the role of our involvement in nature, and the nature of our involvement in the models we make. By making the nature of the reference system that we prefer to use explicit, such problems can be resolved and prevented.

Options & Choices, Doubts & Decisions (Precisioning the Pivot Point of Power)

All man made models are reflection of our own functioning, origin, and involvement in life. 'Reality' is in fact a Realisation, totally dependent on, and conditioned by, the way, we relate to our environment. This Involvement can be described in terms of a Boundary Transition; relating the perspectives of an Insider, Inter-actor, Reactor and Outsider. In our body and being, these are simultaneous modes of being (and determinant for our experience of life, and health). These changes in degree of involvement are in essence the same as the changes in degree of recursion, as seen in the relationship between, e.g. solids, liquids, gas and plasma; all of which can be unified in a description of relations of Phase. By using Phase Space as the common denominator' for our perception of reality, we can describe the characteristics of our realisations in the same terms. The relationships between Options & Choices, Doubts & Decisions then are clarifiers for the changes in involvement, perspective, realisation, and thus the 'reality' (life health) that we live (individually and collectively). This pattern of involvement (with its dynamics and conditions, and fundamental basis) needs to be explicitly described, and accounted for, because all the models we make are based on our own functioning (including the shortcomings in our own self-understanding). By explicitly describing the changes in involvement, we can reconcile difference between our own experience, and those with of others, which helps reconcile fundamental issues of (mis)understanding. It also makes it possible to relate seemingly different models, which is again relevant for resolving issues such as the difference between Subjective and Objective observation, which again can be expressed in terms of Crossing a Boundary; for which our shift in involvement (thus Locus of Control) is the key concept. The ([4D]) logical relationship between our Options & Choices, Doubts & Decisions are the our most immediate 'handle' on the reality and life that we live.
