The Bulletin de la Société Royale des Sciences de Liège is published by the "Société Royale des Sciences de Liège" (SRSL), founded in 1835.
Presentation
The Bulletin de la Société Royale des Sciences de Liège was created in 1932. Since 2006 it has been available online on the PoPups platform of the University of Liege.
All papers appearing in the Bulletin are published with free and open access to the full text under the Creative Commons license CC BY 4.0 at no charge (platinum OA). Authors retain their rights, including the right to publicly self-archive their article in the editor's post- print version.
The Bulletin de la Société Royale des Sciences de Liège is indexed by Scopus and Google Scholar.
Scope
The Bulletin de la Société Royale des Sciences de Liège (Bull. Soc. R. Sci. Liege) is a multidisciplinary journal oriented towards the dissemination of works in the exact and natural sciences. It also covers more applied topics if they are directly linked to the basic sciences. The Bulletin publishes original research and review articles in the following fields: biology, chemistry, geography, geology, mathematics, physics, environmental sciences and space sciences.
Research works involving experimentation on living organisms as well as contributions in the fields of pharmacology, urban planning and architecture are are beyond the scope of the Bulletin.
Editorial process
After an initial evaluation by the editor-in-chief, the manuscripts are sent to at least one reader from the international scientific community in accordance with the single-blind peer review procedure. The decision at the end of the evaluation process is generally reached within three months. A schematic of the editorial process is available here.
