Rapports entre paysages naturels et conflits intra/intercommunautaires: les germes d’une instabilité permanente

Résumé

Cet essai porte sur le rapport entre paysages naturels et stabilité intra/intercommunautaire. Il analyse la relation entre ces deux réalités et fait ressortir ses implications sociocommunautaires. À travers une démarche phénoménologique, cette étude montre l’influence mutuelle existant entre paysages naturels et stabilité intra/intercommunautaire. Ainsi, cette analyse phénoménologique des paysages naturels, fait ressortir le lien étroit entre leur gestion, leur dégradation et le déclenchement de certains conflits dans le monde, et plus particulièrement en Afrique. Aussi montre-t-elle l’impact des conflits armés sur l’environnement naturel. Ce qui tend à instaurer un cycle permanent d’instabilité et de conflits successifs. Pour rompre ce cycle de conflits et éviter cette instabilité intra/intercommunautaire permanente, il est nécessaire de prendre en compte la gestion, la protection et la restauration des paysages naturels dans les processus de résolution des conflits.

Abstract

Relation Between Natural Landscapes and Intra/intercommunity Conflicts: the Seeds of a Permanent Instability.

This essay deals with the relationship between natural landscapes and intra/intercommunity stability. It analyses the relation between these two realities and highlights its social implications. Through a phenomenological approach, this study shows the mutual influence which exists between natural landscapes and intra/intercommunity stability. Thus, this phenomenological analysis of natural landscapes highlights the close link between their management, their degradation and the outbreak of some conflicts throughout the world, particularly in Africa. It also shows that armed conflicts affect the natural environment. This tends to create a permanent cycle of instability and successive conflicts. To break this cycle of conflicts and avoid this permanent intra/intercommunity instability, it is necessary to take into account natural landscapes management, protection and restoration in conflict resolution processes.
