Abstract
Diagnostic decisions aim at finding the entities of classification which most intimately correspond to the diseases the patients are suffering from. Basicly diagnostic decisions do not differ from any decisions made by humans. Reproducibility of diagnostic decisions is not perfect. Morphometric measurements can help in diagnostic decisions, but one should realise that such measurements are not exempt from variation in the diagnostic situation.
