Abstract
A straight-forward computer program is described to pick up selected morphological data from serial sections using a semiautomatic image analysis system. The program is able to plot a surface map of, e.g. vessels completely penetrating all the cortical laminae. The local vessel densities may be discussed as being correlated with neurogenetic processes.
