Abstract

Geography is a social science. It needs scientific methods. Its main matter is the production of space and territory by human societies ; and so, actors and strategies of that production, forms, structures and systems of spatial organisations and dynamics. Using models and thinking laws is fruitful and may have true social usefulness. Always for pure knowledge, sometimes for public policies.
